step into my classroom: microscope lab

Every year I have the wonderful privilege of introducing my life science students to the world of microbiology. I have to say, there is nothing more rewarding than teaching my students a set of skills and then sitting back and watching them get put to use! As students manipulate their microscopes and examine the "invisible," I overhear exclamations of wonder and awe that make my heart soar.
