etsy shop

It's been awhile since I've mentioned my etsy shop here on the blog, so today seemed like a good day to do so. For those of you who aren't aware, during my summer 2011 home assignment I began tinkering around and tried my hand at designing jewelry - something I've always wanted to do. I started by designing these special German-flag inspired earrings to give as unique thank-you gifts for new supporters, and shortly after began crafting new earring and necklace designs.

Towards the end of the summer I decided to try my hand at selling my creations so I opened an Etsy shop online. Since then I have had a whopping nine sales (two from friends/family, but the rest from complete strangers!) and have been able to use the small profits to supplement my support funds.

In December I got my hands on my jewelry-making supplies again and restocked the shop with new designs. My favorite new additions are pieces inspired by the Hunger Games books and meant to coincide with the upcoming movie release in March.

FINNICK (sold) //  get GALE here  //  get PEETA here

So stop by the shop and look around, pick up something for a friend, or shop for yourself! All of the pieces are handmade, original designs by me and each piece has a story behind it. Also, while supplies last your order will ship with a tasty sample of German chocolate! Sehr lecker! (so tasty!)

If you're not a jewelry fanatic, would you help me get the word out by posting a link to my store on your Facebook and sharing it with your friends? I would appreciate it!
