step into my classroom: the scientific method

In seventh grade we are already wrapping up our first unit on the scientific method! After learning the steps involved in solving a problem scientifically, we put our knowledge to the test and carried out some simple experiments and reflected on each step of the process. Here my budding scientists are attempting to determine how the steepness of a ramp affects the speed of a marble rolling down the ramp. I even threw in some math and they did the calculations like pros!
